Aftercare

After your microblading procedure some residual swelling & redness is normal. Some clients may have no swelling some may have a lot...this is individualized. Dry skin, itching & tenderness are common after the procedure. These symptoms will dissipate each day & vary on an individualize basis.

Color will fade/soften 30-50%. The touch up will enhance any area that has faded too much. Healing is specific to each client. You will need to have your touch up completed 4-8 weeks after your initial microblading service to make sure application is best.

It is important to realize that you will need a color boost every 1-3 years to maintain its fresh natural appearance. If you are out in the sun a lot, use anti-aging creams, retinol products, proactive acne products, heavy oil moisturizers, regular chemical peels , or exercise frequently, you will probably need a color boost every 6 months to a year. The better you take care of the treated area, the longer it will last.

Avoid direct water on the treated area for 24 hours after the procedure. Make sure to keep eyebrows clean and absolutely NOTHING on the treated area except for the aftercare products that will be provided to you by your microblading technician.

No swimming until the are is completely healed, salt/chlorine water can cause the pigments to fade or change in color. It is recommended to apply the Vaseline to the treated area prior to swimming even after healed to prevent the chlorine/salt water from penetrating the area.

During the 10 day healing period only touch the treated area with squeaky clean hands while cleaning brows.  This is a must...we do not want an infection!!!

DO NOT RUB, SCRATCH OR PICK AT THE TREATED AREA. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate off. Picking can cause scarring.

Plan on scheduling your touch up within the first 2 months. Anything scheduled beyond the 8 weeks will be considered at full price versus cost of a touch up.

IMPORTANT ------> I cannot tattoo on your skin again before 4 weeks of healing!

Step by step aftercare instructions:

Day 1-3

Clean 1-2 hours after the treatment with a damp paper towel then apply a thin layer of Aquaphor

Repeat every 2-3 hours

Day 3-10

Apply Aquaphor as needed. Always keep moist and do not pick the treated area

Permanent makeup is a process. It often requires a "follow-up" application. There will be a charge for any additional touch-up, spot treatments or color boosts you may desire or need since there is no way to determine how each person may hold color. Each skin is different & care of skin is different. this is not body art ink, it is permanent cosmetic pigments & it will fade over time.
